Unfortunate news coming out this week, South Park: the Fractured but Whole has been delayed. Fans will have to wait (hopefully) just a little bit longer to play the highly anticipated sequel to The Stick of Truth.
In response, Ubisoft posted the following on their official website:
“the development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.”
This isn’t bad news…. this isn’t great news…. this is just unfortunate news. Anytime I hear of a game getting delayed so the creators can “polish up” or “ensure quality” I never know how to take it. Ubisoft doesn’t often disappoint, plus with Matt Stone and Trey Parker heavily involved there is nothing to worry about
With rumors and speculation pointing to a March 2017 release date let’s just all hope we don’t have to wait much longer than that. The ironic thing to this story is March 2017 was the very first release date back in 2015 when the game was first mentioned by Matt Stone and Trey Parker.
No exact release date has been given for the game’s launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
